This is an old favourite of ours that we used to sing out 26-27 years ago ... its still a lovely tune and Sally-Ann sings it just right ... I've not heard many people do this song at all. Took the Weissenborn out of the mix from the original upload because I thought it cluttered it a bit but the original is still up here if you want to compare. Sally-Ann on vocals and guitar, me on second vocals, guitar and bass ... recorded in the front room with two dogs present (sleeping) ... have fun, thanks for dropping by, hope you enjoy it :)

Its her great grandfathers story about how he moved from Burton on Trent to Nuneaton where he worked as a wheelwright ... problem was there was no work so he started selling Moonshine out of his kitchen to the railway workers, he got busted and ended up having to licence his front room into a pub ... the Railway Tavern ... its still there today, still serving beer 100 years on ... anyway let her know what you think :)
