an angry poem i wrote & transmuted for our good: 

vulnerabilities into victories 
rewriting narratives placed on my capabilities 
inner voice taking responsibility 
those were forced insecurities 

“you don’t know yourself”
was a great lie 
why walk by faith 
when my God told me i can fly
why find my purpose 
when i don’t resonate with ‘why?’ 
shit!

YALL GONE HEAR ME
tired of being told im soft spoken
when my soul be screaming
are you listening? 

there’s only one truth 
and that is that im here 
y’all mouths be open graves 
speaking nonsense out of fear 
but you don’t fear me
shit!

is it you that you’re really afraid of being?

i never needed you to validate my existence 
so i guess i’ll keep on whispering 
like the essence of who i am is a secret 
no more people pleasing 
coexisting without reason 
im just being 
shit!
