The time changes drastically from the beginning to the end.  If you listen to the end you may be challenged to recognize it as the same song.

It has been a while since our last song.  We have had a bit of writers block.  At one point this seemed to fall apart.   We ended ended up picking lyrics from three different attempts and putting them together in this song.  Once I finally  we got the time to work then we had a lot of fun.

Now it is time to take a trip back in time.   WAAAYYYY back in time.  To a time when Herman's Hermits and The Dave Clark 5 ruled the charts.  When American president's fooled around with starlets and there was no talk of sex tapes.  Close you eyes and relax and remember a simpler time.  For most of you a time before you were alive.

It seems to me always enjoy our songs that have an R&B flavor to them.  DanB does a great job singing them.  They just feel right to me.  

It seems that all of the weather drama, flooding and heavy snow are over for a little bit!  It's about saying the words. You know the 3 big words that can begin... or end a relationship. Your whole world is "up in the air" until you know that they know... but letting the one you love know that you love 'em is one big leap of faith!   I hope you enjoy it!

This song has been rejected by a few people.  So DanL sent it to DanB.  It seems DanB can make almost anything work.  Sure enough.  He created this song about Relativity and the Speed of Light traveling across space.  I thought this music was worth something and I am so happy that DanB could help it find it's place in the Universe.

This is "What Was Will Be"  I was watching a show about the universe, not paying much attention. When the discussion went to the distance ant time that light took to reach our eyes here on Earth.  They mentioned that some of what we see is really millions and even billions of year old. It struck me that if there are eyes out there looking at us from a great distance, and could actually observe the planet, they could see things long dead to us. I found that thought quite pleasing. Plants, animals, people are still doing what they did... or they are going to do what they did. So many things in our history haven't happened yet in the eyes of whatever might be out there. What was here, will be there. I think that's pretty cool..

We have been talking to Johanna Fegan about doing a song together for some time.  Johanna listened to our version of "7 Second to go" and wanted to do her own (unique) version.  She sent us some vocals.  We then began altering the music to highlight her vocal stylings.

We ended up with this very unique version of 7 Seconds to go.  It is very different ion feel and texture to our original version.

Ok, now this is certainly one for the macabre!  It was inspired by a two story house I saw when I was a very young boy in Hawaii.  The roof of the house had been burned off and I could see the inside. There was a stairway that had been burned halfway. The word I had heard was that a father and child had died trying to get out. I never forgot the smell or the scene.  And from that scene comes this tale....

This song has a Chinese theme, at least as far as the inspiration for the lyrics. There is a well known Chinese poet named Li Bai.  He wrote a poem, the title of which roughly translates to Thinking on a quiet night.  It is one of the earliest Chinese poems.  We hope you enjoy our song.

This music started out as a piece using Wood shop percussion and Koto  It utilizes the Ionian mode.

This one is "My TV Knows What's Best".  It has a kind of a sci fi feel to it. Basically someone who literally watches too much TV.  It has become his sole source of companionship and information. He knows that it doesn't always make sense, but "the TV knows what's best". And unlike the vast majority of Television viewers, he really does believe everything he sees on TV.    Hope you enjoy!

This is  "The Center Of It All"   Sooo.. again, this is very different. When we first had the idea we thought of the stars and outer space. And then there was the amazing solar eclipse.   I thought of Copernicus studying the stars and trying to figure why Ptolemy's conclusions just didn't work. I thought of this while watching a show about Copernicus trying to figure out why Ptolemy's conclusions didn't work.   But, that is when I put the words onto the track. Again, this is very different.
