A singer, songwriter, producer and composer - ever-evolving alternative soulstress AUGUST has been peppering our playlists with a series of beguiling, brooding, dark soul fusions; sitting sitting between multiple genres blending bass music, alternative dance, trip-hop to Jungle via dubstep, utilising left-field drum production and vocal harmonics to stunning effect.

Prioritising vibe and sentiment over any sense of boundaries or stifling pigeonhole, each cut from AUGUST so far has hit hard whilst uniquely shining a spotlight on the whole melting pot of the Bristol sound. Combine that with keys and the piano and you're on the right track.

​AUGUST's debut EP immediately caught the attention of BBC Introducing's James Threlfall with 'No Release' announced as the earworm of the week (including editorial placements on Spotify's Fresh Finds UK & IE), while her recent releases and standout performances at The Louisiana, Bristol Beacon and The Mount Without have captivated each audience in her path.

With additional radio support from Worldwide FM, Reprezent, Rinse FM, Kool FM (DJ Storm / Sweetpea) and Sub FM - including interest from credible collaborators, comparisons to FKA Twigs, Kelela and Cleo Sol (with added amen breaks), AUGUST is definitely one to watch.

Recognised by the Music Producers Guild as an emerging producer, and with over 100k solo DSP streams, 'Wait for Me' a new co-production and collaborative work between AUGUST and Outrage is out now, alongside two accompanying remixes.
