Under his pen name Chlär, Charles Accarisi sets forth with a full rig manifestation of techno that jolts from one trunk-rattler to the next. From his native Switzerland to his adoptive home Berlin, the potency of his sound has followed him and grown ever larger, an assertive strain of dyed-in-the-wool techno that’s groovy and layered as a mountain rock. Working over and above his standard DJ duties, across A&R, events and sound engineering, Chlär practices full-involvement in much of the music pipeline, starting with his own sound and that of new finds and ending with the music’s final dialogue in public space. He’s been keeping busy, and as half of Funk Assault, co-runner of Bipolar Disorder Rec and founder of Primal Instinct his plate’s more than full, but his just-released first full album on the latter label shows little signs he’s tiring. The Architects of Shadows explores current political and sociological themes as broad as nationalism and social atomisation, rifts that through his many roles in music, he’s working hard to bridge. The promise of that newly connected world comes alive through the primacy of his beats, looping, packed with meaning but immediate nonetheless. Bassiani Podcast 248 is an hour and a half of dizzying basslines and all encompassing loops that bear witness to Chlär’s undeniable skill as techno selector. These are future-ready beats from a techno polymath.

Der Hörspielklassiker "Träume" von Günther Eich ist vermutlich das erste deutsche Episodenhörspiel bestehend aus fünf Episoden mit durchaus grausamen Inhalt,Es ist 1951 und die Welt liegt in Trümmern. Bei der Erstausstrahlung  im Jahre 1951 kam es zu einer regelrechten Protestwelle, da die Zuhörer die Themen und die Art der Darstellung sehr verstörend fanden. 

Diese überarbeitete Version verwendet die Aufnahmen der Erstausstrahlung und unterstreicht sie mit atonalen Klängen, Techno und Soundscapes. Die Schauer und Schrecken der ursprünglichen Fassung werden durch die "Musik" gebrochen und somit etwas entzerrt. 

In der ersten Folge der "Dreams" Reihe wird die eigentlich letzte Episode behandelt. Lucy bekommt Besuch von Ihrer Mutter in New York. Die harmonische Stimmung wird von einem Geräusch getrübt. Grund für den merkwürdigen Klang sind Termiten. Diese arbeiten nicht nur unter der Erde - Subterraneans.
In dieser Hörspieladaption finden wir Musik und Kompositionen von Rødhåd, Autechre, Günther Lause, Ernö Kiraly, Mario Merezidovsk sowie David Bowie mit dem Track Subterraneans. Atmosphäre kommt dabei u.a. von MF Doom.

MKO is a DJ and promoter with over a decade of experience in the Polish scene and is a resident at Jasna 1 and a key member of the SLAP crew. He now fully dedicates himself to his club night, Shadows. His sound has resonated in Poland’s most iconic venues and internationally in cult clubs and festivals. In his sets, he moves fluidly through different shades of techno, deep, dub, trippy, and classic Detroit influences, without being confined to a single style.

This mix is a recording from Shadows, where he shared the booth with Kaiser and Chami, handling warm-up duties. It’s a journey from 135 to 140 BPM, packed with tracks he loves playing right now.
