Running Hot return with their second EP of the year and three more club-ready cuts out via their own imprint. Following on from the success of their debut release, which found its way into the sets of a number of tastemaking DJs, this release sees the Berlin/Stockholm based duo refining their own take on classic proggressive sounds.

Picking up where the last EP left off ‘Look Mum, No Fans’ features three more big tunes for big rooms. From the festival-stage sized ‘Only One’ to the fast-rolling prog of ‘Flammable’ via the euphoric proto-trance of ‘Solar’ this one’s got something for all the family to enjoy!

Artistically born in 1990 during a performance at the Alter Ego, a well-known club in Verona (Italy) @MarcoDionigi5 ’s particular style was immediately noticed, who apparently remained enchanted by the miscellaneous of electro-beat and experimental, which clear allusions to the 80s’ electro wave characterized at the time Dionigi’s compositions.

A great example of Marco Dionigi's carefully curated sound. For A2, we have In the company of evolving pads and memorable vocals, we march onwards with simplicity and groove. Hardhead!

Born from Shyam Anand’s 15 years as studio-rat, DJ and global dance music hustler, Spandrel sees the man forge a new vision and sound for whichever dancefloor you find yourself skankin. Circuit Grooves is set to end the year on a high note with Slow Assembly’s innovative release, "Paramount," dropping on Friday, December 29, 2023. This two-track EP see's Slow Assembly continue his work at the intersections of different genres, where Acid Jazz meets the pulsating world of house beats, souped up with beats that dance around a core of rhythmic complexity.

"Paramount" opens the EP with the the original mix, an embodiment of Slow Assembly's vision. Here, the synth work is ecclectic and engrossing, creating a soundscape where jazz’s improvisational spirit meets the steady drive of house music. Following this vibrant opener we have the ZOiD Remix, an Acid track that infuses the original with a fresh, eclectic twist, seamlessly blending the more jazzy synth elements with acid undertones.

Innovative and nostalgic. As the year comes to a close, "Paramount" stands as a statement from Slow Assembly and Circuit Grooves, blurring the lines between genres, and taking you along for the ride.
