Right Below the Shoulders was written about killing off parts of yourself that you don't like, or agree with, but in turn still killing off parts of yourself. The song alongside it's music video is supposed to depict the multiple different voices one hears when experiencing feelings such as anxiety or stress and the process of attempting to rid those feelings through unhealthy means. In some way or another it is a battle you will lose.
