The title track shines with crisp rhythms and hypnotic pads and builds in tension and mood while locked into a relentless groove. To add some spice and flair to to this already captivating tune, we have enlisted the talents of Berlin-based Dj and producer Michelle Owen. Fresh off of her recent offerings on Exploited & Mood Music, Michelle puts together a fantastic remix that drops heavy and hot with an 80's style break beat vibe.

For the final offering, Evan reveals his slow burn talents with the deliciously funky H&T. 110 bpm never sounded so good!

This time from long time buddy 4004, another driving force in Mexico and already an established producer with releases on labels like Freerange, Faces, Vicario Ltd or Quintessentials. Mostly doing stuff on his own, Quintessentials 56 features a great collab track with Stuttgart’s Stylus Heat (currently working as Blunted Monks on Philpot). I’m not sure if we find 4004 reasons to like you Gerardo, but there are definitely two: you’re a cool fella and we love your music - simple as that!

Mallorca’s Hurlee has been a prolific force in the deeper end of house music in recent times, with vibrant releases for SUOL, Tilly Jam and Future Disco among others. His new release for Exploited Ghetto continues his love of warm, feel-good house music with some funk in its trunk. 
‘Feel So High’ is drenched in sunny optimism thanks to its sweet boogie sample. Airy vocals glide over jaunty piano keys and jazzy synth motifs, all the while the slap bass funkin’ hard around tight beats. Conga slaps and sweet guitar licks add the final accents. Filtered breakdowns tease those wailing vocal refrains as crisp cymbals splash and taut snare rolls punctuate. 
‘Looking To My Eyes’ has a similarly positive vibe to it, this time centering on female vocals and disco strains. A warbling diva’s impassioned vocal is looped alongside low-slung bass undulation, a tension created by never allowing her lyrics to fully unfold. Interspersed with another section where cute flute melodies underpin her beautifully harmonised pleas of ‘give it to me baby’, it makes for gorgeous stuff.
