This track was inspired after listening to a lot of "Plastikman" (AKA Richie Hawtin) hence the title "Plastika". No track in particular, he just inspires me for new ideas as he's done a lot of things years ago that new DJ's are just discovering so check him out for sure if you haven't already.

Almost every song I post started ages ago. I remember writing the lyrics to this song in the gym I go to during summer vacation. Good times. The lyrics were initially inspired by my family's continual attempt to live consciously to better the planet and better our personal health. I pretty much don't buy anything, so that is one way I help, lol. Gotta try to leave the spirit and the planet better than when we came. It started a long time ago when 2 cadets of a military academy were spending all their free time playing cheap acoustic guitars and imagining advanced heavy arrangements. So, we dreamed of starting our hard-n-heavy band. This song was a pure electric guitar piece with Andrew on vocals and guitar "duels" in the middle as in Power Metal style.

A couple of years ago I decided to re-arrange it as a Symphonic Metal piece and, maybe a bit, re-worked vocals part to fit female range following modern fashion. It was not an easy task to find a vocalist, but finally, Maria Smailova - soprano and composer of Insinistra band - contributed her amazing  vocals into this project (Please check their pure and dark Sympho-Metal style tracks with lyrics in English on their SC page @insinistra and their exellent collection of acoustic covers on thier YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwGXJx49UkjujJKygLCLjSg). 

It's also really amazing that Andrew found time and performed 2 freshly composed solos for the middle section. In the style of our old guitar duels. And we haven't played together for almost 2 decades.

Here's another special rock song. At first there was only a recording with the Digitech Trio+ Stompbox with Looper. Some sequences with rock guitars riffs. Then I wanted to record a guitar solo. The results were unsatisfactory. So I once again took a look in the treasure chest of Cecilia and found the song "Start up Again". He fit in quite well with the rock sound. But something was missing. A background choir. So I founded the OMCB-backing choir, a revolution in music history ;-). Added some synth sounds and finished the very special rock song. Start up listening ...
I think meanwhile OMCB means One Man Cecilia Band :-)
