Caelum was formed in 2008 as the solo project of Koutaro Tsukahara. He lives in Tokyo, Japan, working in sound installation,photography,music and he is a semiconductor technical expert.

Caelum released his first album called "Weather Report" in 2008. It made a record as a longtime seller and broke new ground in Electronica field. The PV of "apoptosis" (Directed by Takafumi Tsuchiya) that is a leading track of the album was selected for a winner in Portable Film Festival's competition category, held in Australia. Besides, He keep widening their appeal from home and abroad by joining compilation albums and reaching out to CM music and remix and sound installation.
