This week on Topshelf we're delighted to have with us Brazillian DJ / Producer Trio, Japanese Limo Boys.

Based in Ribeirão Preto (SP), Japanese Limo Boys are one of the most blissfully intriguing acts we've had the pleasure of stumbling across. Beautifully pairing European Minimal & Trance Drums with a variety strings from countries around the world to create their own brand of Deep House, as demonstrated wonderfully in their tracks 'Phrygian', 'Morte aos Tiranos' & 'Poonkanavin' which all feature of their self titled debut EP.

Close your eyes and escape to the outer limits. This is a very distant journey our sole mind is capable of taking, carrying us well beyond all known systems to the discovery of a deep world, whose language is complex and whose boundaries are uncertain, for stories that are yet certainly fictitious still though to decipher. This indefinable cosmic journey to which Orso's music invites us, always in search of another place and listening to the soul, in densities and intensities of extreme sensitivity, allows us to reach a vast world of impressive landscapes, sometimes tense, sometimes warmer. Here is a series of memories which sometimes derail into disharmonies and merge for a deep atomic journey in the meanders and the backyard of the solar system. Occasionaly, human voices appear, the only remnant of a world left a long time ago.
