With ‘Hiker’, Emil F manipulates with our common perceptions of compositional form and progression, inviting the listener on a sonic hike, weaving through acoustic, electronic, noise-y and ambient soundscapes – kicking off in the cacophonous city, concluding on a peaceful, faraway mountain. 

When on a hike, one's sense of time and space disintegrates, boosting the subject’s level of attentiveness and susceptibility. Through this medium of heightened sensory capability, Emil F unfolds their – both uplifting and melancholic – auditory universe upon us.
