1-A-Chord is a Contemporary Gospel band based in Atlanta, Georgia that infuses various musical genres into their sound. Their songs are original and they cover everything from rock to reggae, soul to funk, blues to calypso. Their song lyrics are spiritual, inspirational, and uplifting. 1AC has been together for 14 years, and they have taken their unique sound from New York/ New Jersey down to the shores of West Palm Beach, Florida. They have performed throughout the Midwest and in every state in the Southeast, even had a stop in Dallas, Texas. 1-A-Chord have appeared on television programs such as local Atlanta Live and Singsation, which broadcasts out of Chicago on WGN. 1AC has recorded two projects (Forever Changed and Holy Is The Way). Three of their songs ( Eyes of a Child (Forever Changed), Jesus On your Side, Lifted Me (Holy Is the Way) received significant airplay in the Atlanta, New Jersey/New York, and Savannah markets. They have received numerous awards and professional acknowledgements for the many community and civic organizations that they have dutifully given their talents and time unto. As one can see, 1AC is not a start up outfit that is trying to cut their teeth. They are seasoned professionals that in spite of their many accomplishments, remain humble and appreciative of all that they have been blessed to achieve and experience.
