The main guest of the upcoming PLAY. event prepared for you a taste of Saturday evening in the Bratislava club FUGA. Vertical Spectrum (https://soundcloud.com/vertical-spectrum) mixed a techno vinyl set as an invitation to his performance taking place on 28 October and you can get in the mood today with his podcast with serial number 048!

Vertical Spectrum is the latest project of the polish producer from Silesia, whose stage activity began in 2000. Over this time, his musical variations and constant passion, which he manifested under various alter egos in the past, also playing as a live act, led to create this brand. First official EP under name Vertical Spectrum was released in 2015. and after following several subsequent releases, he received an offer to record his first vinyl for the german Nachtstrom Schallplatten label, for which he released 5 vinyls so far, including 1 album. As a result was he was able to cooperate with many legendary names, crowned with remixes of top names such as Alexander Kowalski, Patrik Skoog, Abstract Division, Developer or Ben Gibson and others. Right after he received an offer to join other well known and respected brands including Dynamic Reflection, Tsunami Records, belonging to the spanish legend Christian Wunsch or Granulard Records from under the sign of 1/2 Exium duo. In 2018 he received offers to release his music on Pole Group label lead by the legendary Oscar Mulero, and as a result he appeared on Unknown Landscapes compilation, mixed by Lewis Fautzi.

His productions are undoubtedly appreciated by many great artists in the world and he is not a rare guest in the sets of such an appreciated names as: Blawan, Ben Sims, Paula Temple, Oscar Mulero, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Headless Horseman, Marco Bailey and many others. The year 2021 was another milestone in his career, which resulted in deeper cooperation with representatives of leading techno brands in the world. As he joined: - Warm Up (Oscar Mulero) - Semantica (Svreca) - Mord (Bas Mooy) - Edit Select (Edit Select) - Faut Section (Lewis Fautzi). In 2022 he would continue collaboration with top brands and release for Mord Records or Edit Select, just to name a few. In addition to numerous performances at recognized events in his native Poland, he also had the pleasure of performing in Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Latvia, and Tresor club in Germany. Thanks to PLAY. he is now looking forward to its premiere for the Slovak audience!

Reading a dancefloor is not a science, but knowing how to make the audience enjoy every minute is an art @anika-kunst puts into practice session after session.

She has spent more than twenty years perfecting her intuition, technique and building up a vinyl collection which oscillates between timeless techno and the most select house, making the most of the nuances that exist between said genres and all their sub-genres have to offer.

Maybe you remember some of her emblematic vinyl-only ‘All Night Long’ sessions or maybe you saw her perform in London, Berlin, Brussels or during her time in Latin America.
She might have made her mark on one of your idyllic summer nights in Ibiza or perhaps you heard her at a festival or an distinguishing club in Barcelona at her ‘Selectors’ night; always in constant evolution, with all possibilities still open for exploration.

You may be familiar with her well-respected label, @chapter-records, founded in 2014. You may have even played or listened to one of her releases yourself, or perhaps heard some of her tracks in one of Dave Clarke’s sessions. You might have also already discovered her latest work in the studio, such as her ‘Different Approach’ EP on RSPX (@rekids Special Project) or her latest releases on Symbolism, Ben Sims' label.

It is never too late to make new discoveries, those which will never be forgotten. You may not know Chapter Records or Selectors, or even Anika Kunst herself but in time and space, the devotion many of us feel for the clubbing scene strengthens our bond and binds us to each other, unyielding as we move together.

Born and raised in Belgrade Serbia, Filip Xavi is recognized as one of the pioneers of the local
contemporary techno scene, active as a DJ and promoter of techno culture in Serbia since 2001.
During his decade long residency at Belgrades notorious Drugstore club, he took part as a performer
and curator at over 100 events that (re)defined Belgrades techno landscape.
His music was released on: Dynamic Reflection, Subsist, Sonntag Morgen, Decoder Recordings,
Panel Traxx, Diffuse Reality, Art21, Schimmer, Meditation, Semantica, Mord, Rudiment, Newrhythmic,
KR/LF and Mindtrip.

These sequences of events resonated outside the frames of the Serbian scene and led to the invitations
to respected clubs across the globe: Tresor Berlin, Radion Amsterdam, Le Sucre Lyon, Institut Fur Zukunft – Leipzeig,
Larm - Budapest, Mutabor – Moscow, Groundless Factory – Beijing, Oil – Shenzhen…
Innately attracted to a timeless techno archetype, Filip unfolds his sets in continuous waves of energy,
taking you to different worlds,each new one captivating you further into a close sonic encounter, while
radiating his passion for hypnotic techno grooves and transcendence through the dancing ritual.
