Thavy Ear is a passionate musician and songwriter who grew up in a migrant family from Cambodia in Dandenong, Melbourne. After losing her mother at nine, she turned to music as an emotional outlet, teaching herself to sing and write songs.

Balancing life with long hours in a sewing factory and unable to go to school that often, Thavy found solace in crafting melodies, channeling her struggles into her art. Her experiences, including homelessness and family challenges, have shaped her unique sound and perspective.

With a scholarship to RMIT University for music, Thavy embraced the opportunity to pursue her dreams, driven by the inspiration of her mother’s voice. Today, she continues to create music that resonates with resilience and hope, fueled by a passion that has never faded.

The Profit has been an energetic and enthusiastic emcee since his return to Australia. 
The Profit is a full-time music mentor in the community, striving to connect and empower young people through the hip hop culture. He aims to both inspire and provoke thought through his lyrics while staying true to his roots in Hip Hop, faith and values. 

5 years since his solo debut release "Self Regicide", The Profit returned with a free 3 track release as part of the 3B series with Krosswerdz Recordings and has since launched his second solo release "Late Nights". This is available at www.theprofit.bandcamp.com and is a great indication of what can be expected from The Profit. "Early Mornings" coming soon.
