Legal name Jonathan Hall, or better known as JHall is from Imlay city Michigan, has lived in michigan his entire life, born and raised. JHall started making music in 2005, after his younger sister Danielle passed away suddenly. With no other way to cope he picked up a pen and a pad of paper and started writting poems. Poems grew to mini songs, mini songs grew eventually into raps. Shorly after J invested into a home studio and taught himself to record. Even though the songs were very rough, the people around him saw the talent and kept pushing him to keep at it. JHalls early success was short lived, as much as the music helped get his pain out, it just wasn't enuff. J had gotten addicted to prescription drugs and lived in and out of mental hospitals for the better part of 3 years. Living a life of violent ways, selling drugs, gang affiliate, things were downhill for JHall. He had quit music for a while to find himself and fix and rebuild the bridges that he had burned. It took a lot of growing up and lots more heartache and rejection, but J kept making changes and eventually picked the Mic back up. Started writting again, reaproaching the industry, this time to do it right, to make his mark, show the world what he could do. The people and fans he had before were doubtful of the return and changes made. It caused J to work harder. Releasing song after song , trying to grow and get out, doing shows all around michigan, mostly Detroit. His name started to grow again, the music got better and his flow was on point. 
 JHall was back and ready. Earlier this past year J found out he was going to be a father, to his now Beautiful little Girl Ariella Marie. That's when everything changed. His path, his image, his angle, his determination to inspire the kids and Anyone who has ever struggled. JHall took his life and started putting it to beats in a way where his negative could become someone else's positive. Making positive inspirational music for all ages. JHall is here to stay and will SOON take over the mainstream. Just listen and you can hear and see his vision.
