Alaska’s Yung Sav gained some traction locally when releasing music on Soundcloud from the ages of about 15-18 before taking his talents to the west coast. In California his music went from being a dream to becoming a lifestyle, and he started to take his music seriously. Dropping the studio single ‘Let You Go’ on December 19th, 2019 on all platforms, marking his first release in almost 2 years. This would be quickly followed up by the studio single ‘U Remember’ just two months later. Not long after, In order to free himself from the shackles of his own mind, he would go on to release a short EP titled ‘Anxiety’ in September of 2020.

Born and raised in Alaska, Yung Sav grew up in the small city of Fairbanks. Located in central Tanana Valley with a population of roughly 30,000 people, the city is small but contains all walks of life. While having to endure -50 degree winters, and summers where the sun doesn't go down, trouble was always lurking around the corner. Trouble ranged anywhere from petty theft to spilling bong water all over the carpet of his High School Principal’s office and everything else in between. Dylan was heavily submerged in music from a young age by his father, who was a deadhead that grew up in the 80’s. His father would turn him on to albums in all genres including Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, NWA, Tupac, and many others. Sav would become fascinated, quickly falling in love with the art of music and gravitated toward Rap/Hip-Hop on his own. His sound mixes elements of modern rap artists such as Ab-Soul, Iann Dior, and Kid Cudi with sophisticated song writing and storytelling of old school rappers like Ice Cube and Warren G. Yung Sav is currently working on building his arsenal of music and plans to release singles until he takes the world by storm.
