At Traum Schallplatten, we have always been dedicated to discovering forward thinking artists whose music expands the boundaries of electronic sound. With a careful curation of talents who share our vision for innovative, emotionally resonant music, we are proud to present Wukah’s „Spiralformig“ EP.
Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Gavin (aka Wukah) is an educator of young, eager minds by day, and a keen raver by night.
Classically trained in piano and with a background in short film scoring, his music takes influences from cinematic music, and he likes to incorporate film music samples and ideas into the progressive/melodic house format to make music which is deep, melodic, and very emotive and occasionally emotionally overwhelming!
For his new „Spiralformig“ EP, Wukah has decided to fuse his usual progressive, melodic sound with a slightly more left-field, euro-electronic sensibility in his sound design, and is also bringing in a lot of personal story into the production. The story that runs through the 3 tracks speaks to a succession of personal challenges faced at a crucial turning point. For instance, the spiraling synth arps in the breakdown of the titular track „Spiralformig“ speak to a life spiralling out of control, and being left in an unresolved emotional state. The progressive movement and spiraling synths of „Suchen“ speak to the sense of searching for a new identity as a person in the wake of dramatic changes in life. The slow pace of „Slow Down“ followed by a select few moments of dramatic rises followed by sudden edits into quiet speak to the feeling of escalating desperation to resolve emotional issues instantly, but accepting the reality of having to slow down and to allow processing to take its time.
Wukah has releases on multiple underground labels, and is slowly building a name for himself in the London progressive house raving scene, gaining a lot of interest from significant labels, so is one to watch.

A delicate blend of deep house and modern electronic pop, Things We Never Were traces the outlines of a relationship that almost was soft, restrained, and quietly unresolved.

Built on minimal grooves and warm, spacious production, the track creates a late-night atmosphere where emotions echo longer than words. The vocals float in and out of focus intimate, reflective, and gently detached as if remembering something half-forgotten but never fully felt.

Photobooth Ghosts is one of my earlier tracks, a haunted fragment of electronic pop, a quiet recollection wrapped in blinking lights and soft flashes. The song drifts through memory like a photo strip pulled from an old book, revealing faces half-remembered and moments left behind.

Built on subdued synths and a slow, steady pulse, the track captures the feeling of looking back at something unfinished. The vocals are intimate and distant all at once, like a voice buried in reverb, or a thought you didn’t quite say aloud.

This is music for late-night wanderers and quiet collectors of moments. It’s the sound of a night too long, a name you almost remembered, a booth where you saw someone you never met.

“found in pages” drifts between dream pop haze and deep house pulse. Warm bass and understated percussion keep the groove steady while airy synths and intimate male vocals unfold like a memory resurfacing. The story lives in small details: a cracked book spine, a faded photo strip, the hush outside a club as night gives way to morning.

This track is a quiet nod to my earlier song “Photobooth Ghosts”, revisiting its flickering snapshots and the ache of what went unsaid. Here, movement and stillness trade places: the beat carries you forward while the melody lingers in the margins. Lyrically it traces a missed moment rediscovered years later between paper and dust, turning uncertainty into something tender.
