Part of the inimitable Translate crew of whom created some literal pillars of Eora/Sydney scene in the form of a sound system and who constantly impress with their events - Sufar has kindly shared this delicate, deep and bubbling warm up set for Donato Dozzy at the Strange Signals after party at a warehouse earlier this year. A beautiful trip of a mix that demonstrates Sufars strong knowledge of not only how the speakers work but what should be coming out of them..

His sound—vintage but never pastiche—is deep and bursting with colorful, emotive textures that come alive on his Nina mix. The Edmonton-based artist has stitched together an hour of mostly unreleased originals, alongside collaborations with Nik 7 and Patrick Holland.

Hazy summer night session for no. 71 here, recorded in London in the middle of July and featuring a lot of records and tapes brought back from a recent Japan trip by Alex Yiaxis aka Fantasy In Orbit. Alex is a heavy collector and an all round knowledgeable advocate of the good stuff. We guested on his Balamii show years ago and have been tipped off to multiple records by him since. One for a lazy bike ride, the portable JBL in the park or melted on the sofa. Heatwave material!
