Single from the new album by Zelienople frontman, Matt Christensen called "Constant Green" (June 18th, Miasmah / 300xColoured vinyl). 

As Matt himself describes: " I Had A Vision That I Could Move Anywhere" is  about how much fear does, or doesn't play in our limitations or unwillingness to do things. What is chemistry, genes and fate, and what is choice (if there is any)? In other words, this is a fantasy about free will."

Delphine Dora, a prolific recording artist, improviser, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from France. She performed in various places in France and many places in Europe. Her music is regularly broadcast in international programs in independant radios.
She works mainly with piano, voice, organ, modular synth and field recordings. Her music displays a pure fascination with sound and straddles the lines between improvisation, modern classical, avant folk, song forms, and electro-acoustic music.

While being best known for creating deeply immersive live psychoacoustic experiences, the London based Pataphysical have allowed us to use 'Periphera', the fruits of their debut studio work, as the label's eighth musical oblation. It would have been an excercise in futility to try and replicate the immediacy of their live performances on this record, but we feel that across these 8 disparate tracks inner worlds have been rendered real. Through the careful positioning of field recordings and the creation of soundscapes somewhat reminiscent of heyday Mille Plateau the group have held fast to a desire to craft involved and captivating synthesis.

The title Stereo'frogi'ic is a play on the word stereophonic – to play with the illusion of multi-directional audible perspective – in this case presenting a quasi-bioacoustic sound piece, crafted from found recordings of frogs, insects, a recording of an animal scattering in the bushes and other 'vocal' animals wavering about in a stereo field. This piece was recorded and edited in the summer of 2019.

I have used slightly modified animals sounds to create aural illusions, morphing the perception of animal and machine generated sounds or raw recordings and digitally effected sounds. I wanted to create a tempo that would mimic something similar to the meditative sense you can experience from the flow or sound of the wind and other elements, when you are sitting in an open field while recording.

We're currently crossing the t's and dotting the i's on a forthcoming double LP, but such is the quality and quantity of his archive we opted to release these 9 recordings with a coinciding riso print from Crud* for you to do with as you please. "Philosophically you can regard this music as a fresh view of the ideas of Ferdinand de Saussure - Structuralism and Deconstruction. It is a new approach when it comes to linguistics, the traditional music of the area, where Greece stands as a crossroads and future intelligences. I was interested to hide a fundamental philosophical question in music which would have the same qualities and immediacy as the authentic local music of the area."
