Historical documents buried deep - tapped for all they're worth,
lose a chance to explain the details first.

Language took the pieces from the places of their birth -
uniquely robust in death.

Pooling certificates - trying to speak - raising a culture of ease -
figured roots knew when to expect birds.

Homeland records incomplete, out of sight and off the road -
easy when it's non-existent, and exact when no one's home.

This is a recording I have made with Pop Disaster who are from Norway of the OMD track "Souvenir". I have recorded the vocals and done the final mastering with Pop Disaster doing the music.

A very challenging track to undertake to do vocally but hopefully my limited vocal range proves worthwhile.

Souvenir

This is my cover of The Human League classic "Empire State Human". This is a unique version as the track not only features me on vocals and doing all the backing track, it also features my partner Pam on backing vocals and my 5 year old daughter Charlotte also sings a small part, listen carefully to the phrase "At Least".

This is my cover version of the OMD track "Almost". OMD are one of my all time favourite bands and this cover version took some considerable time to record mainly due to getting the vocal right!

The track is off their self titled debut album.
