Welcome to my Sound Cloud page, I am Robert F Powers.  I wanted to create a page where I could post a collection of my work that  I have done over the years as a vocalist fronting bands,  attempting to become a more competent songwriter, musician and performer with various projects that I have been involved with in the past or current works in progress.  I may post anything from uncompleted demo's that are work in progress (as a fan of music since I was a kid listening to Sabbath and Kiss records in my room I have always been intrigued by the songwriting process so I thought I would share that process with you and post snippets of the writing process so you can hear where an idea began regardless of how raw, rough or awkward it may have sounded when it was birthed and hopefully hearing it mature into a final arrangement or die on the vine) These are songs that were written and performed either by myself, collaborative efforts with other artists and musicians, final cuts from my work as a lead vocalist and songwriter with bands and some unfinished  finished projects I have demo'd.  I am currently teaching myself how to sing, write and play guitar and develop some of my own material with some direction and tutelage of people that I have a high level of respect for in the music community, so you will be hearing some guest stars so to speak as well and with their permission I will note the contributing artists.
