Paris-based label Last Love Records is pleased to present to their debut compilation "Everything a Part of You" ♡

With 22 tracks, ranging from ambient to club music, through hyperpop and lesbian anthems, "Everything a Part of You" depicts the evanescence and multi-faceted experience of love stories.

"POV: it's getting dark outside, your face is lit up by the light of your phone screen as you're about to send a text — will you still love me when the night is gone ?"

❦ All proceeds from the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the mutual aid fund of the FLIRT. The FLIRT is a nonprofit working towards helping disabled, sex workers, immigrant and/or poor trans women. To fight against transphobia, white supremacy and ableism, they created a support network between trans women and transfeminine people, through various actions : emergency financial aid, access to hormones, psychosocial and administrative support. Home Sweet Home

'Alone In A Crowded Place' is a fusion track inspired by the experience of feeling alone whilst surrounded and in the midst of a large group of people. Composition is shared with Georg Boehme, whilst Georg's wind arrangements are simply mind blowing as is his soloing on this track. So then once again I have had the exceptionally good fortune of sharing another musical journey with this extraordinary player, arranger and composer.

Other Locations was originally released in 1996 on the German record label Broken Seal. It was the first CD release from Blink Twice and the label's second release.
At the time there was a zine culture in electronic music, where artists would send their cassettes through the mail to different underground music zines for review across the globe. It was really the only way to get one's music heard.
After putting out numerous cassettes in the early to mid 1990s, Blink Twice had earned a reputation as a unique dark ambient artist in America.

The dark mysterious sound of Blink Twice resonated in European countries, with favorable reviews in the Slovakian zine Crewzine, the Belgian leading electronic magazine Side-Line, Phosphor, and Wounded magazine from Lithuania. Blink Twice was also featured in American industrial magazines Outburn and Industrial Nation, as well as sonic-boom

The sound of Blink Twice earned comparisons to artists like early Delerium, Dead Can Dance, Nightmare Lodge, SPK, and some of the Cold Meat Industry roster from Sweden such as Raison d'etre, Morthound, and Deustch Nepal. Although generally classified under the genre of "dark ambient", Blink Twice utilized much more melody and percussion than most ambient. Many tracks display the melodic layering and tribal percussion that are showcased in some current Mood Exhibit material.

"Other Locations" is finally available here on the Mood Exhibit Bandcamp page, Robert Salchak's official distribution for all his music.
It includes a large selection of bonus material from the era (1993-1996) that was either never released or only available on cassette.

Hidden as the last track is an epic nearly 15 minute tribal ambient excursion that can only be described as Dead Can Dance era Spiritchaser" (1996) meets Delerium era "Spheres I"(1994)

It is an essential historic document for followers of Mood Exhibit, as well as any fan of dark ambient/neoclassical/tribal/cinematic sounds.
