I started these as an exercise in simplicity. feeling more and more like I needed to make my music complex and verbose, this was a deliberate attempt towards the opposite in order to prove to myself that all music of any shape, size, and complexity can still be enjoyable!

Tracktober 030: Ode To Disco 132 BPM  in D Major

Day 30 of my Tracktober challenge 🎃 — every day this month I’m writing and posting a track sketch. These are works-in-progress (WIP), not finished mixes (I only put max 2 hours into each one!) — the goal is to practice showing up daily, experiment with new ideas, and share the creative process openly instead of waiting until everything is “perfect.”

• Concept: Classical! Find a theme in classical music and integrate it into a track. 
• What I practiced: Sample hunting, searching for synths (SO MANY SYNTHS!), and finding ideal samples.

• Imperfections: The drums need a bit more manipulation to keep things interesting, but i ran out of time.

• Influences: Fun fact: i was in boy’s choir growing up…so Ode to Joy was always a part of my life…particularly the holiday season.
