Built in Bitwig with Pigments, Valhalla Supermassive, resampling of those and some sounds from a Moog Subsequent 25. Drum track by x i i i x x i has some EQing, but is otherwise unaltered.

The Assignment: Let something go out of tune

As Iˋm traveling at the moment all I had was an iPad. I thought about skipping the prompt but then I wanted to do it for the challenge of making it mobile. I used MiRack, a virtual modular system, to make a patch that goes out of tune regularly. To add some atmo, I added the MiRack recording to a granular sampler (Samplr) plus some noises plus me humming live out of tune with the seashore in the background. Hope you like it. Sorry for lo–fi, it's made with cheap earbuds and outside a studio in the hotels garden. Track name references to „Ring my bell“ from the end of the golden era of Disco, which popped up in my mind when I thought about a track name with bells …

As suggested by morgulbee I added a funky bass line using a little old pedal from Electro Harmonix called Bass Balls that I bought 15 years ago and used once and then forgot about. It stills sounds pretty weird for an autowah IMHO.

Here’s a copy of my post on the Disquiet Junto 0593 discussion thread:
Another round of great submissions this week. I ended up using @rabmusiclab "Sea Fish Swarm" which, like Hugh's track above, also included the cool track by @beto from part one. 

For me, the combo track had an early 2000s EDM vibe, so I added a retro style synth melody using Baby Audio's BA-1 soft synth in Ableton Live. Seems like this could be built upon even further with additional tracks and effects. I had fun with this, seems like everyone else had a good time participating as well.

i very much enjoyed the lush and gentle tones of https://soundcloud.com/equinox-deschanel (Joe McMahon)'s https://soundcloud.com/equinox-deschanel/lonely-pelican-no-more-disquiet0593 (which contains elements of https://soundcloud.com/mikey_a/the-pelican-finds-a-friend-disquiet0592 and https://soundcloud.com/rabmusiclab/the-loneliest-pelican) and thought instantly about how it would sound stretched out, more shoegazey.
i used paulstretch to create a extended noise bed, imported it into ableton, a short edit to trim the beginning and then stretched the original track to match the timing of the noise part.
then i used the warping section to fix the pitch of the stretched track to original pitch
applied lots of fx - reverb for the noise parts and echo to the original, then on the master channel some granular fx by puremagnetic to add a bit of motion and chaos
panned the noise channel hard left and the original wav hard right
tape emulation applied at the end for added texture

Of Pelicans (of sorts)[disquiet0594]

I set a track to record from the master track while I randomly switched back and forth between the 7 stems using the solo button on the different tracks.  Then made three tracks of this new recording, one original, one where I'm playing with warping, and the last I'm playing with "pitch hack" (a Max 8 effect in Ableton).  Then I did the same thing with these 3 tracksthat I did with the original 7: switched randomly between them and recorded the result.
