Yunhee is an Amsterdam based DJ from South-Korea. Her sound can be described as a combination of dark noise, hypnotic, groovy roiling up tempo beats with spaced out melodic lines.  Hypnotizing the audience with sound and never letting the dancing stop is her musical motto. She wants to deliver her audience a feeling of inner strength, but to also give them a sense of inspiration.

My next guest on Yax Invites is PERT, a DJ and Producer originally from Buenos Aires and is the creator of the V.A. cycle. (Various Artists). 

To achive musical indentiy in her sets she mixes hardgroove, tribal, Detroit and breakbeats. Her focus on creating hypnotic and groove-filled sessions has made her a constant presence in the most important clubs such as Cocoliche, Crobar, Under Club, Niceto etc. In her monthly agenda she tours a large part of the Argentine provinces and has shared international shows such as Insolated Lines and Amazingblaze. 

In addition to her work as a DJ, PERT develops as a producer. This year she released music on Be Techno, Butterfly Records, Pulse, TQW, Organic Records, Beatcode and Gig Techo.

Five years ago, Wencel ventured into the world of electronics, immersing herself indefinitely. She developed a keen interest in digging and became addicted to the process. Wencel has performed at various venues including Jasna1, Drugi Dom, Crackhouse, Fridas Pier and Ciało. From 2023 she has been a resident DJ at Schimmer Records. Currently based in Warsaw, she continues to pursue her passion for music. 

Pięć lat temu Wencel weszła w świat elektroniki, zanurzając się w nim bez końca. Wencel występowała w różnych miejscach, w tym Jasna1, Drugi Dom, Crackhouse, Fridas Pier i Ciało. Od 2023 roku jest DJ-em-rezydentem w Schimmer Records. Obecnie mieszka w Warszawie i kontynuuje swoją pasję do muzyki.

Eva Bohnen is a DJ and producer based in Rotterdam, Holland. Eva started her musical journey in 2021 and had her first track release and club performance behind the decks in 2023. Her love for underground techno stems from the rave scene of the 90s and the alternative punk culture where her roots lie. These edgy influences are noticeable in her sound which can be characterized as raw and intense with repetitive synth sequences. Together with Denn Punk she curates MEUK Collective, a Rotterdam based oldschool techno collective and record label. They just kicked off their label with the MEUK EP with Eva’s debut track Rauwe Groef (Raw Groove).

DJ e produtora paulistana, profundamente influenciada pela música eletrônica desde os anos 90, traz consigo uma rica trajetória no cenário musical. Sua incursão como DJ teve início em 2003, quando se entregou de corpo e alma à arte da discotecagem em vinil. Inicialmente, suas apresentações ganharam vida nos subúrbios paulistanos, conquistando também palcos em eventos e clubes independentes da cidade.

Em 2019, embarcou corajosamente na jornada da produção musical, e desde então, suas criações têm encontrado abrigo em respeitáveis gravadoras, tais como Android Muziq, Hypnotic Room, Árido Records, West Rules, Primitive State Records, entre outras. Seu talento não passou despercebido, recebendo apoio de renomados artistas, a exemplo de Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, Echoplex, Takaaki Itoh, entre outros.

Danniie também participa no projeto RUPTURA, em parceria com Anders (BR), consolidando-se como uma força no cenário musical, e angariando reconhecimento notável por seus lançamentos.

Atualmente, além de ser DJ residente e curadora da festa CONTRA em São Paulo, Danniie desempenha um papel crucial como uma das administradoras da gravadora Primitive State Records. Sua notável versatilidade transparece em suas performances, caracterizadas por uma linha de techno que percorre o groove, offbeat e techno mental com maestria.

MAUER - DJ, music producer, and the creative force behind SENSOR Records. Embarking on his musical odyssey first as a producer and songwriter, MAUER has delved into a myriad of musical styles since his youth. Nevertheless, it was the pulsating allure of techno that ultimately seized his affection.
MAUER’s dedication to the turntables was ignited during an inaugural pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain. With each set he spins, one can hear echoes of Berlin’s electrifying club culture—a fusion of entrancing hypnotic rhythms and the exotic pulse of ethnic percussion. His artistic evolution continues unbounded, as he boldly experiments across the musical spectrum, recently venturing into live act performances.
MAUER’s sonic explorations have resonated through the walls of preeminent venues, from Ava in Berlin to Crossclub in Prague, as well as Warsaw’s celebrated spots Jasna 1 and Smolna. The energy of his sets has amplified the atmosphere at festivals, alongside a host of local gigs.
