Jungle DnB  Dj /Host /producer-Damion J got hooked on music at 13, when his mum worked her socks off to buy him his first pair of Technics 1210s. From that point on, it was game on—he spent every spare minute locked in, perfecting his skills. His break came when a family friend, Marshall D, brought him into the Inna Vision Muzik sound system, where Damion started playing all over, from sound clashes and blues parties to big dances. He also hit up some of the pirate radio stations around Huddersfield—Love 100, Unique FM, Frontline FM, and Vibez Urban—spreading his vibe across the airwaves.

At first, he was all about reggae and dancehall, but as time went on, Damion J found himself pulled back to his true roots—Jungle and Drum & Bass. Big shout to his mentor and close mate, DJ Rocket, who pushed him to chase his dream of becoming a full-time DJ and producer. These days, he’s teaming up with Sheffield’s own Ventus, and they’ve got some big projects in the works.

Whether he’s smashing it in the rave or in the studio, Damion J’s all about pushing boundaries, keeping it raw, and making music for the streets.
