Our second mixtape from local legend @jungalicednb. She killed it at our first night and will definitely return at more 160 events!

This mix reflects what she played at our debut night, combining jungle with some dnb and 160 influenced music, this is definitely one for the heads.

160 BTN #02 Mixed By Jungalice

Next up on our mix series we have Dub Athlete. This mix is packed full of bass weight riddims. Warming you up with dub and steppers vibes, taking you on a journey through Breakbeats and Jungle bangers. Dub Athlete is a multi-genre DJ from Brighton. Known for her high energy sets, she commands and enlivens the dance floor, fusing 140, breaks, left-field bass, Jungle and more. 

Her mixing style and selections have gained her a residency at the long running bass music night The Mine (UK) alongside sets supporting the likes of Exit Records and most recently playing her first international event in Tbilisi, Georgia. She also puts on free parties every month at Brighton's beachfront venue the Fortune of War, curating diverse line ups with local DJ’s.

Dub Athlete was inspired to take up DJing in 2016. She dusted off her cousin's old Numark turntables and learnt to mix with a collection of dubstep records. Four years later during the Covid pandemic she started building her digital collection and experimenting with other genres, quickly gaining a reputation for herself as a multi-genre DJ. She continually expands her music collection with new and old music, motivated by the desire to connect with, elevate and move her audience.

Next in the spotlight of our mix series is We Rob Rave. They have put together this stonker of a mix, ahead of playing our next night on the 25th November. 

"We Rob Rave" is a project of PZG & Dubsknit - two Polish producers, well-known for jumping through genres such as jungle, drum'n'bass, dubstep and footwork. 

After more than 10 years working together, they decided to focus on mixing old-school rave samples, classic melodic pianos, futuristic sound of footwork, amen breaks broken in all possible ways and juicy, overdriven bass. 

As of 2014, PZG & Dubsknit release more Albums and EPs filled with all the best of the 90's, battered with eclectic styles of electronic music.

We'd like to thank everyone for all the support over the last year at all our @160btn events! 

To show our appreciation we've dug into the archive, and found this absolute belter of a set from @MilliCooper
