In 1989 I started a band called Earwig and La Di Da records put out four eps and one album. In 1992 we then morphed into Insides and 4AD put out two albums and one 12". In 1996 I built a recording studio with my bare hands and called it Church Road Recording Co. In 1998 I began lecturing in Music Technology. In 2000 Third Stone put out one Insides album. To date I can count forty full length albums that I have recorded mixed and produced that are commercially released. Probably more eps than that but it makes my brain ache to think about it. I love weird shit, anything repetitive, compulsive, minimal, and edgy. I think all bands should have men and women in them. I think you should seek to make the same record for the rest of your life and just get better at it. If you're lucky enough to master it, give up immediately. And finally, studio democracy does not produce music that will change your life.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist who enjoys playing a range of styles, specialising in (but not limited to) Funk and Soul. I'm all about character, groove and keeping things tasty!
