Xmas Was the Ish! is a storytelling, urban hip-hop Christmas record rooted in childhood memory, neighborhood joy, and a time when the magic felt real. Set in MacDougald, the song reflects on waking up early, believing in Santa while still knowing your parents played a major role, and the excitement of the whole block coming outside to show what everybody got—especially bicycles.

More than gifts, this record celebrates togetherness, imagination, and the love parents poured into making Christmas special, even when resources were limited. It’s a reminder of when belief was pure, joy was shared, and Christmas mornings felt like the richest days of the year.
