. Born and raised in the tough streets of South Central Los Angeles, B-Cryptik became fascinated with music at a very young age. Music was his only escape from the dark reality he lived. Homeless with a single mother and siblings, survival was an every day struggle. Sleeping from relatives couches to strangers floors to sneaking into and getting kicked out of motel rooms meant for a single person and not 6 kids. The Jessie Owens park bench on Century & Western was considered home. Once settled into a government home B-Cryptik began writing rap and Hip-Hop lyrics to instrumental intros and outros from his favorite artist such as KRS-ONE, Suga Free, Das EFX, Snoop Dogg, Eric B. & Rakim, The Game, Mack 10, Too $hort, DJ Quick, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg and Korupt to name a few. His style stems a lot from Nipsey Hussle meets Rick Ross. Now fully into the Hip-Hop/Rap scene, B-Cryptik is here to pay homage to the original Hip-Hop and rap while paving his own orignal path. success.
