IACOPO is a Florentine DJ and Resident of the events "Techno is not a Business". Under the name Iacopo Cohen he shared the stage with artists such as Luke Slater, Flug, Torsten Kanzler, Galudia Gawlas, Flug, Black Asteroid, Mattia Trani, Dustin Zahn.

After a break in 2023 together with Riccardo and Loris he founded "OneHour" a project in Florence aimed at giving free artistic musical space to local and non-local emerging artists.

His sets are founded on a very percussive Techno, fast-paced rhythms and sounds ranging between hypnotic and acid.

IACOPO is a DJ and aspiring producer from Florence, whose passion for electronic music began in 2013 through various local collectives, after a past as a guitarist influenced by rock and metal genres. His dedication and continuous musical research led him to become a Resident DJ for the "Techno is not a Business" events, where he performs under the name Iacopo Cohen. In this role, he has opened sets for internationally renowned artists such as Luke Slater, Flug, Torsten Kanzler, Claudia Gawlas, Black Asteroid, Mattia Trani, and Dustin Zahn.

After a break in 2023, IACOPO, along with Riccardo and Loris, founded the @1hronehour project in Florence, with the goal of providing a free artistic space for emerging local and non-local artists. His sets are based on highly percussive techno, driving rhythms, and sounds that range from hypnotic to acidic.

He’s also an active member of Basse Frequenze Soundystem with which he has shared the decks with a lot of great artist in different club around Europe.
