Label boss Alex Jones fires out another new single on Hypercolour, the imprint he co-founded back in 2006 alongside Jamie Russell.  ‘H2O’ finds Jones in a blissful four-to-the-floor mode, with the kind of classic house production that evokes the timeless sounds of artists like Stacey Pullen, Chez Damier and Mike Banks.

When not producing affirming techno bangers as one half of Dense & Pika, and running his other label operation, Kneaded Pains, Jones is most adept at conjuring up off kilter and genre busting productions under a variety of aliases.  ‘H2O’ plays it relatively straight, compared to other recent productions, but none the less intoxicating, as skippy beats, joyous melodies and a lively arrangement mark this one out of a real feel good house track.

One of house music’s most in demand producers and remixers delivered the goods for Hypercolour’s 100th release.  KiNK aka Strahil Velchev nailed four cuts of genre bending bangers for the label’s milestone release on the ‘For The People’ EP.

For the second installment of the ‘For The People’ remix series, Nikki Nair and Elli Acula weave their signature styles into new interpretations of KiNK’s title track.

Nikki Nair supplies the damage with a sound mangling, bounce-laden banger, as Elli Acula turns up the temperature with a killer rave weapon.
