Gritti Committee is an up and coming hip hop group from Fayetteville, NC. Group includes artist King Malachi, Retro Cash, Black Rusian, and Damigo Lucero. Gritti Committee was established in 2012. Two mixtapes have been released from Gritti Committee, "Digi Scales & Plastic Bags" and "First Time Felon". Lucero was featured on "The Melting Pot 3" which garnered over 30,000 views on youtube. Their single "Hard Work, No Play" was featured on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes : The Indie Top 50 Vol 294 (December 2013). GC has opened up for acts such as Pastor Troy, Webbie, and performed in all type of competitions around Fayetteville.
