Buenos Aires' influential AGVA Records starts its 2024 release schedule with none other than EL PLVYBXY, label's boss who comes back home after almost two years since his changa tuki-inspired 'EXTRACORPOREA'. The new EP - aptly titled 'TRINCHERA' which means trench in Spanish - carries a somewhat sinister and unnerving mood in an attempt to reference the armed conflicts happening right now around the world. Channeling the feelings of rage, torment and helplessness with the use of distorted sounds, airy synths and chopped up samples, the release might as well serve as a dystopian soundtrack to the current sociopolitical landscape of our planet.
