     Buck Hennessey is a Soul R&B singer who was raised in the ways of the timeless ones.  i.e. those whom only need to go by one name...  Sam, Ray, David, Otis, Marvin and many others from that era.  He began singing as a young child when he first realized the gift of song was passed from father to son.  His mother taught he and his brothers to read sheet music and play piano by the age of five.  However, it wasn't until the age of fifteen Buck would come out of his shell and share his voice with others while singing in a couple of R&B groups in high school.  He later left home to attend North Carolina A&T State University.  It was there where everything changed and his hunger for a career in music became overwhelming.  While at A&T he joined the Jodeci/ Boyz 2 Men styled group Adagio and for 6 years they performed numerous shows along the east coast and southern states. Including stops for the NAACP national convention, the Def Jam music symposium, and a Bike rally performance on a stage that also featured Candi and Tiny from Xscape before disbanding in 2005.  It was then Buck reunited with his brother who had also come to A&T to form what is now DoubleShot.  (Buck Hennessey, S. Hennessey, =2 shots of Henny)  Since; he has written and recorded over hundreds of songs each one revealing another side and flavor of Hennessey.  With is raspy vocals, straightforward delivery, and Vintage aura, Its only a matter of time before Buck Hennessey is a name that won't be soon forgotten...
