In Between

An instrumental funk tune inspired by Vulfpeck, particularly the song "Cory Wong". On Cory Wong, Cory Wong himself plays a low theme on his strat while Jack Stratton plays another interlocking higher funk riff on his strat. My tune has two guitars as well (both my own Fender Stratocaster). I attempted to arrange it in a similar way. Enjoy!

Having surpassed 600 followers on SC I wanted to offer my sincere thanks to those of you who take the few minutes to listen and comment on my musical posts.  It is greatly appreciated!

I'm a songwriter, self taught musician and music lover of all genres.  I listen to a lot of Progressive and Alternative Rock, and explore many of the respective sub-genres.  I also listen to Indie artists, and I think some of the most creative stuff emerges there.  I am knowledgeable on the history of Rock and Pop music, even Jazz and Big Band.  I believe you will hear aspects of all these things in my music.  While I am a big fan of a number of artists, it’s songs that captivate me. The atmosphere created, the stories shared, and the emotions conveyed or evoked.

Songs really matter to me.
