Automatic Writing is a Paris-based vinyl label founded in 2016. Dedicated to the minimal side of house music, it releases works from both local and international producers. The label also runs the Automatic events in Paris and the DJ trio of the same name, formed by Darween, Jacan and Guillermo Jamas.

Hailing from the Midlands, Willenhall based underground music duo 2-Minds (Luke Fitzpatrick and Ashley Carter) have established themselves as trusted support artists with a journey so far that stretches over an impressive 5 year period.

Since the days of pushing a more easily recognisable, high tempo house sound at the likes of the Rainbow Venues, VOID, Amusement 13, and outside of the second city for the Bakery in Nottingham and as far overseas in Ibiza – their development as a collaboration has changed course towards a more mature sound.

With the combination of Ashley’s indulgence and ever growing passion for crate digging for those hidden vinyl gems and Luke’s open minded approach to explore the deeper sounds on offer in the house scene – the pair have now made the transition to the sub-genre of house music now commonly known as minimal. Since finding inspiration from the unique sounds that derive from countries like Romania, 2-Minds commitment to the changeover in sound has seen them support Italian maestro Marco Faroane, Dewalta & Jack Wickham’s for the highly respected brand TRMNL, in addition to playing for Birmingham’s booming brands Afta Dark & This Aint Berlin more recently.

The pair are now intending to capitalise on these successes by focusing their efforts on crafting their own sound in the studio, showcasing the depths of their music with monthly podcasts, pushing these sounds in Liverpool for their residency for RAW as well as releasing news on other exciting projects they’re involved in too.

Magda is amongst the most high-profile and in demand artists, having proven herself as a consistent, adventurous and exceptional performer, with a knack for bringing music together in unexpected ways.
Magda's realm as an artist pans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer. With an open mind, Magda will try her hand at whatever feels right – from music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself.
Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda discovered beauty and inspiration in Detroit’s raw urban landscape. In 1998, she joined the Minus label and began touring as Richie Hawtin's main DJ.
Since her first international tour in 2003, Magda established herself globally as an artist known for pushing musical boundaries and expressing her unique style. She released her forward-thinking DJ mix album 'She's A Dancing Machine' in 2006, followed by her debut artist album ‘From The Fallen Page’ in 2010 among other single releases. Magda’s remix work includes Plastikman and Depeche Mode and DJ mix albums for Fabric, Balance, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, among others.
In 2006, Magda established the Items & Things label and booking agency with Troy Pierce and Marc Houle.
In 2017, she launched the Perm event series in Berlin. Sitting pretty at the crossroads between art and club culture, Perm was a collective initiated by Magda and established in the name of artistic cross-pollination with a very strong multimedia aesthetic. Guests included Atom TM, Burnt Friedman, Jan Jelinek, and Cristian Vogel.
Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax. The Blotter Trax live show combines modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. Performance highlights have included live audio- visual duets with video artist Lillevan (Morton Subotnick, Christian Fennesz) and a recent club tour of Japan which saw the duo performing live and transitioning into Magda’s signature DJ sets.
