When lead guitarist/vocalist Jack Harmon invited then drum virgin Michael Silva over for a first time jam session, the two realized their musicianship held great chemistry thus creating a hobby into a career. A year and five band titles later, Jack and Michael considered asking their mutual friend, Loren Acosta to join the band. Loren had just placed first in a Video/Audio Production State Competition for producing audio with teammate, Michael Silva, and was then in a college music class with Jack Harmon proving himself to be a likely candidate to play bass in the band which widened 200 Proof's bandwidth. Soon after, Jack and Loren invited classmate and trumpeter Kaitlin Simoneau into the band. Not only did Kaitlin's skilled trumpet playing increase dynamic to the band but she also gave a great amount of musical tips and tricks which improved the flow of the music and the musicianship of the band.

The four piece band has had the luxury to record to tape and is currently in the mixing process for their upcoming album, titled "Pick Your Poison" to be released this fall (2014).
