The record is made in special eco-vinyl from coloured vinyl residues. Each copy has its own pattern. 3 deep techno cuts – with a strong Detroit essence, seasoned with lush atmospheric soundscapes. Hidden Sequence is piloted by Paul Simmons and Stefano (aka 6884), a double act that’s as special as it gets. A former D&B superstar born and raised in London, Paul is an experienced hand and a master of funk with over several decades as a performer to his credit. By contrast, Stefano is a studio-dweller and sound sculptor – a mathematician divided between techno chords and jazz infused licks.

With 'Scale,' Till Krüger delivers his 9th release for 200 Records. The EP begins with the dubby and tech-house-infused 'Scale,' followed by 'Desire,' showcasing Till's unique musical interpretation of classic Detroit Techno. 'Disruption' is a more straightforward Techno track, while 'Failure' pays homage to the early 2000s Cologne scene with its superb melodies and ethereal sound atmosphere.

Hamburg/Berlin based Soukie & Windish released one of their first 12-inches on 200 Records – the EP “Elsewhere” (200 005 – March 2010). They have released a lot of records afterwards and shaped their unique style. Now they are back on 200 Records with two superb tracks.

Duster has the classical Soukie & Windish groove with a great atmosphere and cool vocals. Flott is a perfect summer groover with a fresh sound and a great bassline.

200 Records launches 200 BLACK; a new vinyl series focusing on organic and analogue techno. Its first release comes from Haventepe (Istanbul). After some brilliant dub-techno releases on various labels, he helps to inaugurate 200 BLACK with "Distanced". The title track is a dreamy dub-techno opus nearly 10 minutes long. The b-side includes a massive techno monster "Steady State" and the trippy "Sideway Funk”.

200 Records was founded as a Techno label for vinyl and digital releases by Kai Sasse and Dirk Middeldorf in Cologne, Germany at the beginning of 2009. 200 Records releases music for the club and defines itself as an open-minded label striving to provide a platform for both established and new artists. They are putting an emphasis on connecting with their artists musically and personally. The motivation behind starting this label is Kai’s and Dirk’s love for electronic music; the will to contribute a piece to its development – to give back – and last but not least, due to their close friendship, the desire to create something new together.
