Barcelona-based record label Hot Plates, founded by Nico and Dom of Suicide After 7, is thrilled to present its debut release: a four-track EP distributed by Runas. The record is a dynamic journey through analog textures and genre-blurring rhythms, unified by a shared spirit and sonic identity. Crafted with vintage gear like the TR-808, Juno-106, FM synths, and Prophet, the EP showcases a range of moods and energies:

“Blanked” sets the tone with crisp pads, a subtle Chicago house rhythm, and a blend of futuristic and retro synths. It carries an ominous yet invigorating feel—an understated dancefloor burner that slowly creeps in.

“Fish Fry” pushes into darker territory, with an edgy, slightly menacing EBM vibe. Anchored by a gritty FM bass and splashes of sharp percussion, it rolls forward with underground intensity and eerie momentum.

Rina Katen and justcallmesergio are Ukrainian-born, Berlin-based artists making waves with their emotive, groove-driven electronic sound.

Rina is known for deep, immersive DJ sets blending groovy house and nostalgic ’90s classics, with performances at Sisyphos, Renate, and Kater that showcase her storytelling approach.
Serhiy (justcallmesergio) began producing in 2020 and quickly built a name with uplifting, ’90s-inspired sets at Kreuzwerk, Renate, OXI, and through acclaimed releases.

Together, they’re known for energetic B2B sets as part of the Hauswerks collective, sharing a commitment to storytelling through sound while honoring their roots and pushing genre boundaries.

Marianella was raised in an environment steeped in musical appreciation. From an early age, she was immersed in her family's passion for vinyl collecting—a formative influence that sparked a
lasting connection to the format and its surrounding culture.
Her artistic journey began as a bassist in a punk rock band, an experience that instilled in her a raw energy and a strong DIY ethos. Years later, after relocating to Europe, Marianella discovered a new mode of expression through vinyl. She stepped into the role of selector, exploring a wide range of
genres and gradually shaping a distinctive, ever-evolving musical identity.
Today, Marianella is known for her bold yet refined selections, with a particular affinity for electro,punk, industrial, and techno. Her sets are visceral and intentional—each one a carefully crafted
sonic narrative. Through her deep aesthetic sensitivity and curatorial precision, Marianella delivers immersive performances that resonate with emotional depth and artistic coherence.

In her own words: "Born from a spontaneous spark, this high-voltage journey dives into my favorite sounds — weaving EBM, acid, techno, and electro into a mix that’s raw, electric, and unapologetically alive. NMD Live-set for 200 Records / Ep "Parting of the Ways" out April 1

200 Records was founded as a Techno label for vinyl and digital releases by Kai Sasse and Dirk Middeldorf in Cologne, Germany at the beginning of 2009. 200 Records releases music for the club and defines itself as an open-minded label striving to provide a platform for both established and new artists. They are putting an emphasis on connecting with their artists musically and personally. The motivation behind starting this label is Kai’s and Dirk’s love for electronic music; the will to contribute a piece to its development – to give back – and last but not least, due to their close friendship, the desire to create something new together.
