Vive La France (Ytem 'Carnival' Redux)

Created in 2023, this two-track EP marks the first official collaboration between Shanghai-based producer Zean and emerging artist Willy Yo. Blurring the boundaries between drill, dubstep, and experimental sound design, the project explores an uncompromising sonic space filled with noise textures, extreme contrasts, and immersive atmospheres.

For Willy Yo, this release is both his debut on GR Recordings and his very first public work, making it a milestone that introduces his vision to the wider audience. Together with Zean, the duo delivers a raw and innovative interpretation of heavy bass music that challenges the expectations of its genres.

Arriving on @planetmurecords with debut 12-tracker 'InitiatriX', Manchester-based producer Ship Sket (@hdmurder) pays homage to UK styles like dubstep, grime, drill and rap, but on an emotional level, it’s about spirituality, fetish, and latent darkness hidden by outward appearances.

“I like happy accidents, messing around and resampling, and kind of seeing how far I can push stuff before it disintegrates in front of me," Ship Sket says. "I’ve heard my tunes on a club system and gone, 'wow that mix sounds bad', but the tune is still popping. My approach is a lot more stylistic than it is technical."
