In August 2020, the University of Surrey will host its 7th International Conference on Spatial Structures, which will co-incide with the 61st Annual Symposium of the International Association of Shell and Spatial Structures: IASS 2020. As Surrey prepares for these events, we’ve caught up with some of the leading figures in the field today and asked them to share their views on the history of spatial structures, the influence of digital development over the past decades, and the pioneers of this discipline that they most admire.
