Across a string of well received records on Seth Troxler's Play It Say It, 20/20 Vision and Moan Recordings, The Mekanism has honed a refreshingly uninhibited sound - one that pops with joyful expression and works to serve the sort of free-flowing parties he regularly plays across the US and Mexico.

Here, he delivers his trademark sound with 'Do The Disco' - a rapturous cut that features percussion from Grammy Award-winning percussionist Jorge Bezerra and an alt sax replaying of 'Do It At The Disco' by Gary's Gang by Tom Barford with a gracious nod from Nervous and Uni Disc.

The taught skins of Bezerra's drums rattle out of the blocks and get things off to an electrifying start. Pattered into dexterous of polyrhythms, they carry that certain energy that drives a marrow-deep motivation to move while a straight 4/4 kick maintains a solid boom throughout.

Jorge Bezerra is a Grammy Award-winning Musician and Percussionist who has worked alongside many great artists throughout his career, notably on Ludovic Navarre’s St Germain project, on stage with the wonderful Melody Gardot and as an integral member of the Joe Zawinul Syndicate that allowed him to share the stage with other greats, such as Herbie Hancock, Bebel Gilberto, Hitonari Tsuji, Cheick Tidiane and Bobby McFerrin. 

Barford's sax is steadily filtered in while a bossy bass line walks up and down and the mood begins to bubble. Drums, sax and bass take turns to grab centre stage and the resultant vibe is feverish, balmy and jammed full of fun.

Javi Bora and Le Vinyl reignited their winning collaboration with this searing four-tracker on Steve Bug's Audiomatique label. Both hailed from Spain and were heavily influential in the notorious party capital of Ibiza – with Javi Bora as Kehakuma resident DJ at Spaze Ibiza – it was fair to say that both of these guys knew how to lay down tracks that worked crowds to the bone. Luckily, this release did all that and more.

'Momma’s Tale' was a slick, punchy and epic jam that somehow managed to keep its tension throughout the track, building into an unstoppably infectious groove.
Sacha D'Flame added soulful, classic-house-infused vocals to bring the whole thing to a floor-wrecking climax. Also included was a Dub Mix for DJs who preferred the more stripped down approach.

'Heart Roaring' was another main room bomb waiting to go off. Its swirling groove and sharp, funky programming was reminiscent of Detroit house masters such as Rick Wilhite and Norm Talley, and was sure to wreak serious damage when dropped at peak time.

Arkady Antsyrev produces minimalistic house tunes, combining deep-atmospheric soundscapes that slot perfectly into the sound world of Sublease Music. 

With this release Arkady shares three new tracks that firmly cements his reputation. 

Loud ‘n Proud is  a groovy acid tinged banger with crisp drums and bubbling 303s, underpinning a whispered, atmospheric vocal. 

Troika goes a bit harder, veering towards techno with metallic edges and a relentless groove, balanced nicely with another subtle vocal. 

JT changes things up with a skippy broken beat to start off, before settling into a bass heavy wobbler that will surprise and excite a lot of audiences.

Florence-based producer GgDeX steps onto Junked Groove with his EP “No Name”. Across three tracks, he channels the raw energy of his techno roots: two peak-time weapons packed with grit and acidic bite, built to push dancefloors into overdrive. Balancing the intensity, the closing cut shifts gears into refined deep house - a warm, hypnotic groove, perfect for sun-drenched terraces and easy-going daytime radio.

‘Pressure Drop’ is the debut release from Reedale Rise on 20/20 Vision.

The 12" EP sees Simon Keat continue his purple patch of form following from releases on other esteemed labels including Frustrated Funk, Common Dreams, Emotions Electric and Boe Recordings. The trademark Reedale Rise lush production sound of emotive electro continues on ‘Arkeme’ but ‘Hydraulics’ and ‘Pressure Drop’ see Simon venture into tougher dance-floor orientated electronic directions. ‘Naria’ completes the EP with a Motor City style groove based around a heavy break beat.

Pressure Drop has received early support from the likes of Afrodeutsche, A-Future, Bobby., Burnski, Central Processing Unit, Conforce, Domenic Cappello, Futureboogie, Kosh, James Shinra,

ко мне кореш пришел, мы балбесничали, пиво пили, сводили треки, у меня тогда еще проигрыватели дома стояли

потом решили что-то в аблике потыкать

я ему показывал как пуш работает, записал лайвом эту плак партию и оставил его за компьютером. а сам ушел на кухню

вернулся, а он туда закинул какой-то бит и дописал ризовый бас

я удалил его бит и накрошил туда аменов) получился фьюче джангл

потом мы серьезно взялись и дописали его за ночь. сидели у меня дома прямо до самого утра, расцвело

денис ушел домой, а я остался сидеть мастерить. мастерил как мог и получилась эта финалка

а теперь самое интересное

у меня днём был поезд в киев и я на него опоздал из-за таксиста. он решил меня с салтовки повезти через барабашова днём в час пик в субботу) 

я как-то распетлял этот вопрос. ребята поехали днём, а я на вечернем поезде

денис и настя поселились у моего друга (после чего кстати влюбились и начали встречаться. не помню только сразу или спустя какое-то время)

я приехал часов в 12 ночи в киев, сразу поехал в клуб

мы тусовались и я стал играть часа в три ночи

и первым в своем сете поставил именно этот трек)

вот такая история
