20/20 Vision marks its 30th anniversary with another great release here in the form of some remixes of Crazy P's iconic single 'Stop Space Return'. The late Danielle Moore's unmistakable vocals shine across two stellar reworks from Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy who infuses her cosmic, acid-laced disco energy into the track. Her Cosmodelica Remix and Dub version blend trippy 303s, cowbells and deep grooves into something suitably fresh. Also included are two classic Unabombers mixes from 2009, and they offer raw house heat and dubbed-out psychedelia that serves as a fine floor-focused reinterpretation of a beloved anthem.

When GLADE GLASTO got in touch wanting a DJ to bridge the gap from dub into house straight after the one & only Prince Fatty at Glade Dome, I jumped at the chance to play as LOST IN DUB for the very first time. Dub has always been my first love and the inspirartiion behind pretty much everything I do as a DJ even though I’ve spent a lifetime in house music. So, if I’m going to stand up there at Glastonbury then it can only be done properly offering some respect to the roots.

Thanks to all the teachers and dub pioneers who really deserve the attention. It was a joy to drop selections from my musical heroes including Jah Shaka - forever remembered and the sound of my youth - alongside other greats including Mad Professor, Channel One, Manasseh, Prince Fatty, Kibir La Amlak, Alpha & Omega +++ before delving into some dub house & dub techno which could have run & run...

Founded by Ralph Lawson & Carl Finlow in a farmhouse studio near Leeds, 20/20 Vision has grown into one of electronic music’s most respected labels, with nearly 500 releases over three decades. Full Circle revisits the label’s legacy with classic tracks, rare cuts, and new remixes for a new generation.

Full Circle Vol. Two delivers heavyweight remixes of seminal cuts from the label’s archive, featuring contributions from dance music legends Ricardo Villalobos and Random Factor. The A1 sees label co-founder Random Factor reimagining Villalobos’ iconic Easy Lee into a deep, minimal slice of bubbling electro. Lush harmonies and tremulous basslines pulse beneath robotic vocal motifs, showcasing the signature studio wizardry of Random Factor.

On the A2, Bobby. steps up with a powerful slab of driving club energy. His rework of Random Factor’s Lockdown transforms the electro classic into a moody, propulsive workout, mering his massive 4x4 drums, thick synth bass, and shimmering arpeggios—infused with a fresh 2025 dancefloor vitality.

Craig Richards opens the B-side, taking Convergence into shadowy minimal territory. His remix dubs out the vocals across a stripped, percussive framework—effortlessly channelling his unmistakable rhythmic sensibility into a slice of refined club hypnosis.

Closing out the EP, Sean Johnston aka Hardway Bros dives into 2011’s Digitize with a hedonistic acid-tinged rework. Rumbling low-end, snaking basslines and echoed percussion cut against twisted fragments of the original vocals, creating a wonky, euphoric refresher built for late-night systems. "

PREMIERE: Milès Borghese - Thurin

The formidable team of Visionquest related artists Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Cesar Merveille debut their new Sweatshop Boys project for Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom imprint this June with ‘Wide World’ feat Jem Cooke, backed with remixes from Mosca and Tolfrey himself.

Individually and with their respective collaborations, all of the artists on this Sweatshop Boys release are heavyweights. Curtiss and Crosson, along with Seth Troxler and Shaun Reeves have turned the Visionquest project and label into a house music phenomenon in recent years while Merveille has, via releases on Cadenza and his collaborative LP with Crosson, developed a formidable reputation himself. Mosca, via his Radio 1 show, has become a genuine flag bearer for house and techno while still enjoying a status as one of the most eclectic tastes around while Jem Cooke’s work with Matt Tolfrey and Kate Simko has seen many a plaudit.

‘Wide World’ is an 808-fuelled cut with a hefty dose of electronic soul. Urgent, relentless, funky and with Jem Cooke at her most passionate in her vocal performance, ‘Wide World’ is an unashamed slice of jacking, old school house executed with care and nous. Mosca delivers three interpretations. The London-based artist gently channels Dance Mania with his ‘Ghetto Mix’ and comes with dubby, rawness in his ‘Deep Dub’. Already extensively road tested on his R1 show, these are a rare set of remixes from Mosca and, as always, he’s delivered the perfect accompaniment to a great single.

OFF regulars Mat.Joe from Berlin already proved to be a quintessential part of the new movement that fuses deep house beats with heavy basslines with hip hop and r&b influences. They come back strong with a new multitrack ep. No fillers here, everything is crafted to be an amazing dancefloor weapon.

'Showtime' starts up the party with a killer house groove topped with luscious hip hop vocals and ghetto arrangements while 'Hypnotic' drops a supersexy r&b vocal hook and a bouncy bassline for yet another peak deep house bomb. 

Last comes 'Somebody', a 909-infused house masterpiece with soul influenced vocals that will sure jack everyone's bodies.

On remix duties, with releases and features on Visionquest, Mobilee, Noir and Souvenir comes Forrest, who reworks 'Somebody' into yet another dancefloor mover with a sub-bass driving groove that takes the vocal work to a different dimension. 

This is one of those records where you can't really pick a favourite so you better grab them all!
