Initially released by Materiali Sonori in 1985, San Giovanni Bassista’s ‘Don’t Go’ EP embodies what made the alternative italo disco scene of Florence so thrilling. Fresh, packed with humor and ahead of its time in so many ways, these three tracks are thoroughly modern and are definitely still dancefloor burners. Famous for ‘Don’t Go’, it did not take long for the audience to fall in love with the other two tracks of the EP: ‘Summer Sweat’ and ‘Hot Socks’. To pay hommage to his dear friend Claudio Bonaiuti, who passed away suddenly, Alexander Robotnick re-released the EP in digital format on his very own Hot Elephant Music label in 2010. Fast forward to 2016 Bordello A Parigi is pleased to bring you this release on our beloved vinyl, remastered with refreshed artwork. All in cooperation with mister Robotnick himself who also supplied us an edited version of Hot Socks. Sit down, lay back and enjoy the sun while drinking a cocktail on a beautiful beach and mumbling the silly blend of English and Spanish lyrics!

Conjured by fellow Swiss soul-stirrer Fabio Aurea, it’s a glimmering slice of cosmically charged house that’s ready and waiting for the sunny season ahead… Especially now it’s backed with these three exceptional updates. 

Crosstown Rebels’ Serge Devant takes the lead with a brisk switch into the later chapters of the night. Robust, rolling percussively-laced beats and warm bassline that plunges right beneath you toes as the disarming vocal takes over. 

Dubai’s Frederick Stone follows with an equally subversive twist. A misty, heavily atmospheric piece charged with a slithering beat, Stone brings a switch up midway that acts like a whipslap, locking everyone in a five mile radius into its hypnotic groove. 

Last but not least in this remarkable version session come label mates Armonica. Last spotted on RADIANT’s ‘Reflections’ album, the Italian duo follow up remixes on massive labels such as Diynamic, Monaberry and MoBlack with a genuinely epic and emotionally-charged eight minute twist. Andreas Rund with his real name Ondřej Kulatý is a dj and producer from Czech Republic. He used to perform under the name “Atrey” and in 2014 he had his first EP. First release as “Andreas Rund” was at the label “Comorbid records” and another followed. His last release was at Marseille's label “Beat is murder” and with this started a new chapter which reflects in his current output. Andreas Rund emphasize on powerful beat and bassline with melodic elements. His tracks are dark something in between techno and electro with atmospheric background. 
His story goes on. With true love for music that Andreas undoubtedly have, you will listen about him in the near future.

PREMIERE - Andreas Rund - Ignorant (Colossio Remix) [ESTHÉTIQUE]

Psycho Weazel is a duet based in the beautiful medieval city of Neuchâtel, and let’s not forget that Neuchâtel, despite her wise reputation, was also the very first rave scene of Switzerland in the early 90s. Ivo and Leo aka Psycho Weazel won’t tell you more about it since those young music producers were not even born then! At 23 years old, they are the new sap of the Swiss electronic scene but this EP - which is their fifth release - already shows a surprising maturity. “Ascensao Ao Outro Mundo” and “Marumba”, the two original tracks, illustrate the richness of their music: dark electro textures and Italian disco groove on one side, melodies fed by Latin American and African influences on the other. “Ascensao Ao Outro Mundo” with its long intro that plays on the nerves of the dance floor before exploding in fireworks beats, has for instance also inspired two remixes particularly relentless, by two old European electro wolves. The American-berliner, Curses, and the duet based in Switzerland, In Flagranti, both twisted in their own way the hedonistic message of the original track towards something more perverse and nervous.

The school corridor was empty except for a few stray papers that had escaped from a locker and proceeded to float down the hall. The bell had rung a couple of minutes before and those loitering had since scarpered in fear of a scolding. All but one student, a small golden haired girl, who instead had hidden herself from view at the end of the corridor. A soft whimper left her lips as she hugged her knees tight into her chest. In her hands a scrunched up letter welcomed her to her new school. But she didn't feel welcome, she felt like an alien in this place. 

Two of Tel Aviv's most promising talents Niv Ast and Eliezer team up for their first joint release to inaugurate their new label, New Day Everyday, set up with Paris-based booker Daniel Weil. Collectively racking up previous releases on Ombra International, SC&P, Relish and Days Of Being Wild, this collaboration sees the duo blending distorted guitars, electronic rhythms and punk bass lines for four dance floor numbers.

BAR03 is BAR Records' very first spring release. With 2 tracks by The Hague's JEANS and 2 more by Italian duo Younger Than Me, this one is dedicated to the ravers. The first track by Jeans is 'Grand Theft Mind Explorer', a race car journey full of various breaks and melodies into the 4th dimension. The second track 'Nohzdyve' sounds like a spring tune on a hardcore clubnight. The peaktime beat slowly fades into a sweet and nicely confusing end. Younger Than Me's 'BaRave' has some classic UK rave elements; the signature drums are accompanied by a happy end of the day melody. This track asks for a perfect sunset. 'Dirty Sex' is the different one, a vocal track for darkrooms. Contains the beautiful voice of Justine.
