The album “Dendrology” arose during my stay in the dendrological park of Berezne, which became a source of inspiration and a catalytic factor in the creation of this music. In a sense, I dedicate this album to the place of Power, which helped me to realise my ideas in sounds

2064年 Recordings, specializing in futuristic electronica, presents a release from label curator SHADOW UNIT. The EP consists of five tracks, each of which is a story that happened to me during the six months since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. 

'I started writing ANGEL CRY at the very beginning of the invasion. This track is about the hope for the best that remains with us even now. 

SPRING ENERGY is about the energy that is born at the turning point of spring. When winter really dies, and new life is born. 

PRAY is the most hypnotic track from the EP. I really like to play it in my sets, the version that got into the album has a new mastering and is different from the single. 

MAGIC DAY — I really like long walks in the forests of Kyiv. I have been planning this day for a long time, and I call it 'Magic Day'. Everyone needs such a day. 

LOVE AND AFFECTION has a summer vibe. We recorded it last summer together with Sasha Dog. This is the lightest track on the album, and it fits perfectly with the conclusion of this story.'

First kiss is a Kyiv-born artist based in Riga, known as 1/2 of Laiva Maikule and a member of the Jauda collective, which is reshaping Riga’s underground music scene. She has performed at key venues across the Baltic states, sharing stages with respected names in the industry. Her sets blend progressive house and trance, creating a nostalgic yet vibrant journey.

After studying music production, First kiss began creating her own tracks. Her debut pays tribute to mid-90s progressive house, featuring vocals by Nikolova, blending her musical roots with a fresh sound. She continues to explore new genres and sonic textures in her production.

The second release of Shadow Unit and the 2064年 Recordings. ‘Too Late’ is a very personal track of Shadow Unit. He's about empathy. Each of us has a strength to do something good for others because even a little help can be decisive.

The composition is a mixture of many styles: jungle, breakbeat, techno. All of them are intertwined into one psychedelic pattern. ‘Ghosthunter’ is a raw, low-frequency track full of primitive aggression. It refers to early hip-hop but it sounds completely different.
