Nowadays we receive tons of information every minute. We compare it with what we already know. As a result we shape our worldview. When we watch a new movie of our favorite director we compare it with his other movies against our will. Whenever we listen to the new music, try food in restaurants, choose clothes brands, travel, we do the same. We compare our social status with success of other people who we don’t even know. We are not familiar with their life circumstances. Nevertheless we judge them by what we see and hurry to share our opinion in social media... While we are creating music, sometimes we are comparing ourselves with other musicians, sometimes with ourselves in the past. It’s important not to loose yourself in those comparisons and to remember who you really are and why you do these or those things in our complicated world.
