Beneath the light of the Blue Moon, in the heart of the quarry of Zmar, The Slow Brown Fox and Lizzie Urquhart weave a tale of Shadows Dream.

Sounds ebb and flow like the tides, whispering secrets, stirring something primal within. Rhythms pulse, steady and alive, echoing something ancient and unseen. Haunting melodies spiral through the sky, beckoning you deeper into the unknown, where the air thickens and shadows seem to breathe. Something shifts just beyond sight, waiting.
In this liminal space, where the veil is thin, shadows dream.

Lizzie Urquhart is a DJ, artist and co-founder of record label @somewherepress. She has honed her sound over a series of radio shows and guest mixes, characterised by a reflective nature. Her DJ sets take on a hypnotic EBM sound, a low-tempo pulse across pitched-down chuggers, polyrhythmic electronica and leftfield minimal wave - intertwining the dark, emotional and psychedelic into a meandering narrative, her mixes are designed for deep listening.

Next up in the series is a mix from Brussels-based DJ and label-head Rick Shiver, someone who’s been around bringing some of the finest sounds to our ears for many years through his label Nose Job and his always-reliable mixes, with a residency on LYL Radio with his show Niemandsland, and regular appearances on BXL’s excellent Kiosk Radio.

His mix takes us on a journey of his usual dubwise downtempo, scattered rhythms and heavyweight, heady slow-club moods, always with a Shiver touch, dubby and fun. Plug-in for a little over an hour of some of the nicest gear you’ll hear all day.

Phase Group Mix - Rick Shiver

Nathan Dawidowicz's path has been one of contrast and exploration. Born to a Polish-Lithuanian mother and Cameroonian father, they moved from Milan to Jerusalem at the age of six, growing up in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. While pursuing an academic path in design, music remained a constant companion, deeply rooted in childhood experiences playing the piano within religious ceremonies.

Though design became their formal study, it was music that provided a way to navigate life. Inspired by their father’s time as a DJ in Milan throughout the '80s and '90s, Nathan’s relationship with sound evolved, eventually leading them to Berlin, where they continued to explore expression through music.
In Berlin, they joined forces with Luspoderosa, a label based between Zurich and Berlin, known for its unconventional approach. This collaboration became the foundation for Nathan’s debut solo album, Sanctuary of Ideas—a deeply personal, cosmic exploration of memory, heritage, and the emotional landscapes of sound.

Curva Imposible is a gathering in Barcelona that explores the most enigmatic margins of music in unique spaces.

The latest event featured local and international acts like Bejota Nova, Lato A, Pedro D. Sáiz, ML, Tomaga, Ron V/D, Don The Tiger, Estades, Andre Pahl & Alicia Carrera, Heap and Rabih Beaini.

The Mystic Room is the place thought for mental relaxation where any sonic oddities could happen - for this occasion, secret guest André Pahl and I played the last slot, acompanied by the nicest crowd.

Big thanks to André Pahl, all the listeners that accompanied us along the journey, to Meri Bonastre, Vir and all the artists and friends involved.
