Krake Festival introduces: ElectroDon

Recorded live at Krake Festival 2020, this KrakeCast comes from ElectroDon, resident DJ and co-owner of Mechatronica. the Berlin-based record label, clubnight,  and electronic music stronghold which he founded in 2012 together with Daniel Boubet aka Daribone. 
@electrodon started his career as Dj in Italy playing Dubstep, Jungle and Reggae Vinyls. Meanwhile, visiting different electronic music nights in Rome a the early 2000s, listening to the music of Marco Passarani, Leo Annibaldi and Lory D. After he moved to Berlin, he founded Mechatronica as a party night and started to play as professionally as a DJ.
ElectroDon’s smooth and at the same time dynamic approach to DJing blends with his long passion for collecting different ranges of music. His sets are an energetic mix of electro, acid, EBM, techno, jack, chicago and detroit sounds, italo and disco.

Born in the Soviet Union, experimenting with guitar in bands from a young age, then discovering electronic music at 21. Egzotikka now indulges in sounds of lofi coldwave, exploring the spaces between electronic and rhythm based post punk areas. Starting the label Meta Moto 4 years ago, the blueprint from the beginning was to present true DIY culture music, the use of vintage synths, technology of the old world and to bring a unique vision to an ever blossoming underground scene. Meta Moto's future holds secrets of the some huge announcements that avid fans will delight in.

ADJ has been playing Underground Electronic Music for over 35 years as a DJ, starting in the days of Early Electro and Hip Hop. He has also been producing and releasing music for over 25 years, releasing over 200 tracks in this time on a plethora of labels including Andrea Parker's Touchin Bass, For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm, Woodwork, Ai, Outside USA, Cultivated Electronics, Section 27, Yellow Machines, Crobot Muzik - Croatia (with Advent), Diffuse Reality, Battery Park - Germany, Kidnapping Netlabel - Argentina, Interakt, Shameless Toady, District 6, Open Mind, Electro Compendium, Digital Distortions, Fundamental and has done remixes for Flint Kids, Scanone, Ed Chamberlain, Sync24, Lifecycle, LASynthesis, Carbinax, Nter, Carl Finlow, Fleck Esc, Dj Astrobee, Arsonist Recorder, and Paul Heirophant.
He has run the Pyramid Transmissions Record label with label partner Pathic for 22 years and also ran the Analogique record label for 5 years from 1995 to 2000 releasing Techno, Electro, and Electronica as 3 Elements.


Andy is currently working on several projects and has released vinyls on For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm in 2020/21  and is on the Occupants 2 vinyl on Science Cult with forthcoming vinyl on Arkada and Hearse Records in 2022. He has also released in 21/22 digitally on Patterned Media and Woodwork in the US and Hybrid. He has also released several remixes on Diffuse Reality Records, Specimenrecords, Hierophant Dubs / Exalt, Woodwork in 2020/21

Spanish producer and DJ C-System is a talented performer with eclectic tastes who dabbles in music of all kinds, from techno to electro and everything in between. His back catalogue includes releases on countless labels, including Kobayashi, Mastertraxx, Armatura and Subsequent, and his music has been supported by DJs like Dave Clarke, Rebekah, Bas Mooy, Ken Ishii, Inigo Kennedy and SNTS, among others. He is currently working on his labels MFM Records and also Morforecs.

- All. The fight against globalism, dictatorial control and agenda 2030. The fight for freedom and the true.

Valeriya Buturlya started her DJ career in 2015 as a fan of deep house, nu-disco, deep techno and tech house sounds.
The nickname Tendresse Rage, which she chose in French, means love for a combination of different styles, sounds, bright transitions between a delicate motive and a hard rhythm, and is literally translated as "tenderness-fury".
Valeria has been choreographing for 15 years - this period of her life reflects today's emotional power of music in sets. In 2018, Valeria finds herself in the field of electro-breakbeat styles, bringing her into a state of euphoria and deep exploration of new musical paths.
Thanks to this, compilations are born, which were released by such platforms as: Dark Science electro, Back side slice, Unusual Systems. With nearly 10 years of experience behind the decks she is self-described as genre and sound obsessive - EKATA has built a reputation as a huge advocate for Electro and an artist that orchestrates a dark and warped experience that brings energy to the dancefloor with her meticulous signature style. Her music is characterised by its dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms / intricate synth work with a sound that best personifies ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.

She has played at the likes of Tresor, ://About Blank, Meraki, Fold, HÖR and she has a well recieved release on highly esteemed Avoidant, the Electro sub label of Soma records under her belt. With forthcoming releases on Burial Soil, Furatena (which you can hear for the first time in this mix) plus a few top secret projects planned over the coming months, she's set to flourish further in 2023.

Keep an eye on this skillfull lady as she's already got 6 releases scheduled for 2023.

The mix is such a perfect representation of what to expect from me if you were to see me playing in a club, it's a mix of old classic Electro mixed with some newer 4x4 sounds.
